As soon as this card enters the battlefield, a permanent of your choice (not a land) that an opponent controls is exiled – and it stays exiled until "Web Up" leaves the battlefield again. In game strategy, "Web Up" is a cornerstone for white Control or Midrange decks. Since it can target not only creatures, but almost any type of permanent (such as artifacts, enchantments, or planeswalkers), it offers enormous flexibility. In Limited formats, this effect is one of the strongest common removals, as it cleanly and efficiently neutralizes problematic opposing cards. The card is particularly effective in combination with Blink effects to re-target permanents over the course of the game, or in decks that benefit from enchantment synergies.
